Enduro Pre-Cat Lacquer, 1 Gallon, Gloss

The new water-based Pre-Cat Lacquer wood finish from General Finishes utilizes innovative technology in the polymer manufacturing process. This novel formula produces a smaller and smoother polymer particle, resulting in a significant increase in film clarity. Furthermore, the chemical, water, and yellowing resistance of this finish are superior to those of its waterborne or solvent-based competitors.

It is important to note that applying clear topcoats over bright white paint may cause yellowing due to a reaction with the underlying substrate. Similarly, light-colored paints may also experience some yellowing when a topcoat is applied, although this effect will be less noticeable.

The Water White product, which dries clear and does not amber, is designed for interior use only and is self-crosslinking acrylic. The recommended application method is by spray, using a 1.1mm to 1.3mm HVLP tip size. The touch dry time is approximately 10 minutes or more, and the recoat time is 1 hour or more.
