To apply, simply use rags to saturate the surface, then wipe off any excess after 30 minutes. Allow 24 hours between coats, and typically 2-4 coats will deliver optimal results.

For enhanced penetration and faster drying, you can mix the Tung Oil with a citrus solvent or mineral spirit. However, it's important to avoid applying the oil over any existing oil-based stains.

Maintaining the proper temperature conditions is crucial during and after application. The surface and ambient temperature must remain above freezing for at least two weeks to ensure the oil cures and dries properly.

In terms of coverage, a 16-ounce container of Tung Oil will cover approximately 50 square feet per coat, while a 32-ounce container will cover 100 square feet, and a 1-gallon container will cover 400 square feet per coat.
