Interbuild Hardwax Oil - 8.45 oz Brown 100% VOC Free Food Safe Wood Sealer & Stain

This Hardwax Oil was developed 10 years ago by our company for use on all our products in the factories where we produce. It has been used on millions of kitchen countertops, wood panels, garden furniture, indoor furniture, decking and deck tiles, even on products supplied to well-known global retailers. The oil has an outstanding reputation in the markets we delivered these products to for its exceptional wood-protecting properties and its unique feature of being approved and tested for food contact, both as per the FDA standard and the German Food & Feed Acts LFGB requirements.

We have now developed a consumer pack version of this Hardwax Oil after receiving numerous inquiries from the market. This consumer version has been enhanced to be 100% free of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The Hardwax Oil consists of different vegetable oils and waxes that have been cooked together at extreme temperatures to form a micro-molecular oil, which penetrates deep into the wood while providing an outstanding hard surface where the waxes form a protective skin. Due to the solid content with no solvents added, this oil has a very high yield, up to 40 m2 per liter for a single layer, as there are no thinners that evaporate into the air.

The Hardwax Oil is available in 8 colors and is 100% VOC-free, making it food-safe. A 250ml (8.45 fl oz US) can covers an area of 8-10m² (86-108 ft²), thanks to the high solid content (100% vegetable oils and waxes) and low evaporation of fumes.

The key features of the Interbuild Hardwax Oil include: - Safety of oil components: The ZERO% VOC Hardwax oils are composed of a mixture of vegetable triglyceride oils, waxes, and non-hazardous pigments/colorants. - No harmful volatilization: There are no solvents, and 100% of the product will stay on the wood surface, with nothing evaporating into the air. - Accentuated wood grain texture: The use of these oils has no known significant effects or critical hazards for the treatment of wood. - ZERO% VOC & Food Contact Safe: The oil is approved for food contact as per US FDA 21 CFR 175.300, and all colorants used are certified non-toxic by EN71-P3 and REACH.

To use the Interbuild Hardwax Oil, the wood surfaces must be properly prepared by sanding and cleaning. A minimum of three coats are required for unfinished wood. The oil should be applied at room temperature (20-30°C) without thinning, using a roller, brush, or cloth rag.
